ROMANTIC CHICKEN is about the everyday mysticism of both chicken (food/creature) and recipes (instruction/poem). It is also a practical (well, mostly practical) guide to cooking a whole chicken. Designed and illustrated by Eva Claycomb.

In celebration of the project, TART vinegar produced a special blend featuring herbs & citrus that is especially delicious when dribbled over a hot, crispy piece of chicken skin. The book was celebrated with a themed reception at Fredericks & Mae, in New York City, in the fall of 2024. The first edition is completely sold out, the second edition is coming in late spring, 2025.
